Aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to get through to BT to change my ADSL bills to be paid by Direct Debit - otherwise I'll keep paying them late. Just called the number on my bill and got stuck in the hell that is automated phone systems. The usual trick of not pressing anything and then you get transferred to an operator. This didn't work - just lopped for ever. So in despair I just pressed loads and loads of random buttons on the phone. I was immediately transferred to an operator. Shame they aren't being very good.
